Adjustable Wrenches
Different types of adjustable wrenches are available in the market and they range from 4" to 2' long. But in your case just for self use the one which is recommended is with 10” to 12” handle. Adjustable wrenches can be used to fit nuts and bolts of several sizes and fittings that have flat sides. They are basically used for several general purposes. IT is important to make sure that when the adjustable wrench is being used the force is being applied against the saw.
Pipe wrenches
When you want to grip and turn pipe fittings pipe wrenches are the best choice. They have adjustable and toothed jaws that are designed to assist the pipe wrenches in carrying out such tasks. Various sizes are available in pipe wrenches and they can vary from anything 12” to 18” inches in length. There is also availability of large wrenches to take care of the large pipes. The same working technique used with adjustable wrenches applies to pipe wrenches also. It should be made sure that force should be applied against the permanent jaw and not against the adjustable one.
